For the 21st year running, we had the pleasure of organizing the end of term summer camp for Sant Paul’s, an English school based in Barcelona celebrating this year its 50th anniversary. A 4-days experience into the wild and rich Natural Park in the Terres de l’Ebre.
Sant Paul’s summer camp is designed to be a mix of adventure, sports and fun in beautiful, protected natural surroundings. The journey started with a canyoning along the river Canaletes: a thrilling combination of showering waterfalls and deep green pools. We left the water on day 2 to hit the Via Verda: an old greenway today adapted to be the perfect biking route across Els Ports Natural Park. After biking, the 48 children and their 3 teachers, who took part in all activities and enjoyed every experience just as much as the students, camped in Benifallet old train station under a sparkling night sky. With the high summer temperatures, nothing better than jumping into the waters of the Ebre river again and have some fun with the canoes. After the route, all were driven to Tivissa to enjoy the last night of the summer camp: swimming pool and disco night in an exclusive rural accommodation!
A week full of exciting moments, with classmates and beautiful surroundings: the summer can now officially begin!
