Barcelona, 8 o’clock in the evening and its cloudy and rather humid. A handful of rain drops have fallen, but certainly not enough to stop any of those planning on attending the inaugural ceremony of Open Camp, ourselves included.
We always like to discover new places that may be suitable for some of our team building activities. Over the past 10 years, we had the pleasure of using the Olympic Stadium for our own Olympic Spirit programs, and for this reason we really wanted to rediscover the stadium and see how it has been re-born after its acquisition by a private company. So, we walked around the facilities and could see for ourselves how the participants can feel like a Messi, Gasol or Bolt. But only for a minute, as we were not here to sweat but to enjoy, thanks to the technology the backbone through which the experiences take place by using a digital bracelet that allows the athletes to record and share their results.
Open Camp ended its open day with an amazing light show that left no one indifferent. Technology in its purest state making the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium shine again, a chance to relive the heydays of the 1992 Olympic Games.
